Why I created the LUCKY Life Tools website
Over the years, I've learned many useful techniques on how to optimize life, be more productive, and solve problems. I decided to synthesize and streamline my learnings into a series of simple printable worksheets for anyone to use. Some of them I made available for free, while others I included as bonus materials to paid products (such as the Life Planner and the Daily Wellness Journal). This website served as a central home for both the printables and the paid products.
Context
The printables were a bridge between my web app products and my printed products. With web applications I was limited in what I could release, as the process was complex, long, and costly - it involved hiring programmers. With the printables, the process was simpler and I could quickly test my ideas with actual users. When I later started creating elaborate print products (planners and journals), I could use this real-world feedback to make them as useful as possible.
Homepage Logic
The purpose of the homepage is to 1) Communicate the brand's identity, excite the visitors about its offerings, and create a sense of trust so they would feel safe in signing up, and 2) Inform about and guide the users to the four different types of tools that are available. Since the tools are different from each other, I created four different designs for each type of tool:
